Stream the Music and Magic of the Holidays With Extraordinary Performances and Exquisite Productions at Stage Access

Specialty Streaming Service Features World-Renowned Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Jonas Kaufmann’s It’s Christmas!, The Nutcracker, and Exclusive Introductions from Kelsey Grammer

NEW YORK (December 6, 2022) – Music makes the holidays, and that’s never been truer than this year, as streaming service Stage Access brings together some of the most extraordinary sights and sounds of the holiday season, offering a musical gift to fans of the performing arts that can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere, on favorite streaming devices.

Operatic tenor Jonas Kauffman’s It’s Christmas! is one of the most colorful and eye-catching of all holiday musical specials, a celebration of the season shot at the “Silent Night” Chapel in Oberndorf bei Salzburg, Austria, where the famous Christmas carol was first performed in 1818.

The 75-minute special offers holiday sounds with the extraordinary style and mastery that led The New York Times to call Kaufmann “the most important, versatile tenor of his generation.”

The Christmas spirit continues on Stage Access with seven stirring, unforgettable Kerstmatinee, or “Christmas matinée,” performances by Amsterdam’s renowned Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Recorded between 2013 and 2020, the Royal Concertgebouw’s holiday concerts include programs of Wagner and Strauss; Bach’s Christmas Oratorio; Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in D Minor; Debussy’s La mer; and much more.

The Royal Concertgebouw programs, as well as It’s Christmas!, also feature exclusive, original introductions by Emmy® and Tony Award-winning performer Kelsey Grammer, who serves as the on-screen host for Stage Access.

“Our goal is to make Stage Access be the one streaming channel performing arts lovers and families alike will want to turn to again and again to bring the holiday spirit alive every day at any time,” said Stage Access COO Tripp Hornick. “On Stage Access, the music and extraordinary visuals, all come together with a touch of holiday magic.”

In addition to Kaufmann’s It’s Christmas! and the Royal Concertgebouw programs, Stage Access is the season’s “Nutcracker Central,” presenting 10 dazzling productions from around the world – each with a distinctly different creative flair.

Stage Access offers a free seven-day trial to all new viewers. Monthly, unlimited streaming memberships are just $7.99, or a full year for just $69.99. Stage Access is available across every major streaming platform in the United States and Canada: online, iOS, Android, AppleTV, Amazon Fire and Roku, and via the Stage Access mobile app on the Apple and Google app stores.
